Specialist Leaders of Education

Specialist Leaders of Education (SLEs) are outstanding middle and senior leaders who have the skills to support individuals or teams in similar positions in other schools. They are skilled in mentoring, supporting and developing others. Above all, they understand what outstanding leadership practice in their area of expertise looks like and are skilled in helping others to achieve it in their own context.

 

The SLEs listed below are currently in post, have completed their core training and are available for deployment in schools. Please click on the names of each SLE to see details of their expertise and the services they can provide.

If you are an experienced middle or senior leader who is interested in supporting leaders in other schools, you can apply to be a Specialist Leader of Education (SLE).

You will be expected to show that your work has had a positive effect on outcomes for children and young people by developing leadership capacity in other schools.
